The Covid 19 pandemic is one of the worst health care challenges, humankind had to endure in a long time. In the fight against Covid 19, Topcem Cement hosted the webinar series, SAHAYATA: COVID 19 Skilling Program in collaboration with the Wadhwani Foundation to sensitize its employees, channel partners and stakeholders and raise awareness on the fundamentals of COVID 19 prevention.
SAHAYATA: Covid 19 skilling program webinar series was inaugurated by Dr. Anil Kapur, President, Sales & Marketing, Meghalaya Cements and Mr. Sunil Dahiya, Associate Vice President, Wadhwani Foundation on 29th August,2020.
The webinar was organized in a phased manner to maximize the reach among its audience. The primary objective behind it was to sensitize more people on how to protect themselves against novel coronavirus. Four phases were completed with the participation of 600 individuals. Each phase/session of the two-hour-long webinar promoted and revolved around four important steps – basics of Covid 19, basic preventive measures, infection prevention and quarantine & isolation. These steps were in line with World Health Organisation(WHO) guidance and intended to help people prepare in their fight against the deadly novel coronavirus. The program was spread over two weeks and 1500 people were covered.
