ADVANTAGES OF USING TOPCEM SDC

High Blaine grinding and controlled blending of the clinker from MCL’s multi stage pre-heater with pre-calcinator  under expert supervision makes TOPCEM SDC, a very durable cement.

The higher fineness and spherical shape of cement particles improve workability, prevent bleeding and increase cohesiveness which in turn provides better finish and build quality.

TOPCEM SDC has a shorter final setting time, which helps masons in achieving a better finish within a very short period of time. Balancing of chemical compounds with low heat of hydration guards against cracks and the concrete sets rapidly. This facilitates the early removal of formwork and saves both time and money. Also, the de-shuttering of structure can be done as per specified guidelines provided in IS 456.

TOPCEM SDC is rupture free cement and possesses both low heat of hydration and negligible expansion.

Developed with monomolecular layer technology, it forms a nano passive layer over the steel surface very quickly before other elements that come into contact with steel could reach the surface. It deflects chlorides and water molecules causing corrosion, thus guarding against rusting of steel surfaces in the concrete.

In ordinary concrete, calcium hydroxide liberated during hydration leaches out as concrete hardens. This results in the formation of interlinked voids in the concrete and makes it permeable. In TOPCEM SDC the fly-ash through its pozzolanic properties reacts with calcium hydroxide and forms insoluble cementitious compounds. This process reduces and blocks the voids, thereby reducing the permeability of the concrete. The reduced permeability of concrete provides better resistance against sulphates, chlorides and frost action. Thus, TOPCEM SDC provides a strong, durable and long-lasting structure.

Topcem SDC gives more coverage, higher strength, less cement consumption for targeted strength due to higher Blaine & fineness. Smaller particles of Topcem SDC react with water to produce strength inducing compounds. In ordinary cement with bigger particles, the products of reaction accumulate on the surface, leaving the inner portion unused and leads to loss of strength.

Use of BOPP (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) bags makes it impossible to tamper with and make sure there is no wastage of cement. Special packaging makes it moisture and spill proof to ensure that you get 50kg of assured best quality cement to use in your project.
