TOPCEM CEMENT CONTRIBUTED TO CHIEF MINISTER RELIEF FUND

Guwahati, July 29th, 2019:

Donates Rs.10 lakhs to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for Assam flood affected victims.

The recent floods in Assam have impaired the normal lives of the people. The state has suffered huge losses in terms of Infrastructural damage, such as roads, property, embankments etc.

Extending support to help and rehabilitate the flood victims, Topcem Cement on 26th July, 2019, donated Rs. 10 lakhs to the Assam Chief Ministers Relief Fund. Mr. Bajrang Lohia, Director & Mr. Ram Avtar Agarwala, Managing Director of the Meghalaya Cements Ltd. handed over the cheque to Chief Minister, Sri Sarbananda Sonowal, at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, in Dispur, Guwahati. 

The gesture was a symbol of solidarity with the people of Assam in this hour of need and surely for reaching out to the victims affected by natural calamities as an act of humanity and longevity.

The Chief Minister thanked Topcem Cement for their kind gesture and expressed that Chief Minister’s Relief Fund would receive more donations from different quarters to help the flood victims of the state.
