Trees contribute to the environment by producing oxygen, improving air quality, fighting climate change, conserving water, preventing soil erosion, and supporting wildlife. Since its inception Topcem Cement is responsible for planting more than 10,000 saplings in various locations of Assam and Meghalaya. Saplings of fast growing variety are planted in environmentally vulnerable locations, annually on World Environment Day.
